This season ANFA has proposed to have A division league, National league and Mofsal tournaments all running simultaneously within six months. Top 6 teams of last seasons A division league will be playing National League and A division both. Whereas other teams will be playing same number of games like previous years i.e. 13 games A division league.

Those clubs not participating in the national league will have 6-8 days in between the games. There are 3-4 Mofsal tournaments scheduled in the breaks during the league itself. So clubs will have to take break from A division league and travel to the Mofsal tournaments.

So basically for smaller clubs who don't get invites to most of the Mofsal tournaments will be playing a 13 games A division league which is usually a  3 month league. But those clubs have to pay the wages of 6 months to the players i.e. double wages for the same amount of games like previous years.

One of the reasons why ANFA wants to finish everything within 6 months is so that national team can have a camp and training before AFC qualifiers.

Since few clubs are not happy a second round of meeting will be taking place soon. This format might be changed after the proposed meeting between ANFA officials and clubs.
