National team closed camp to begin from Wednesday

The National Men's Football team will begin their closed camp training in Pokhara Stadium from Wednesday. The will be preparing for Saff championship and AFC ASIAN QUALIFIERS FINAL ROUND.  The squad are currently on a 10 days break which will end on Wednesday. From there they will resume training in Pokhara. Prakash Budhathoki and Arik Bista will not join the squad and will be replaced by Shishir Lekhi, Sesehang Angdembe and Goalkeeper Bishal Sunar. Going through the History of Nepal Vs India

Nepal and India have played 19 matches between each other so far. In those 19 matches the stats are in the favor of Indian Side. Nepal has only managed to beat India twice. 4 matches have ended in a draw. Whereas 13 times Indian side came out victorious. The first ever match between two nations ended in a 0 0 draw, in 20thdec 1985 in South Asian federation match. In the next 5 matches India won 4 of them and drew 1. The first ever victory by Nepalese side against India came on 22nd December 1993 in DACCA CUP held in Bangladesh where after 2 2 score in full time, Nepal defeated India on penalties . Again in the next 6 games Indian side won 5 and drew 1. Then on 5th September 2013, Nepal defeated India 2-1, in a SAFF Championship group match and went on to top the group.   Nepal Wants India to send its senior team for the upcoming friendlies between the countries. Nepal is clear on proposal that India should send its senior side. However Indian FA said they were discussing proposal with the head coach. Many Indian fans criticized AIFF for fixture against a lower ranked Nepalese team. A source at ANFA said" The ANFA is clear that AIFF will send its senior side. It is being said that India might send u23 team for the preparation of U23 qualifiers.   Anjila Tumbapo Subba (Nepali:एन्जिला तुम्बापो सुब्बा; born 28 May 1996) is a Nepali footballer who plays as a goal keeper for Armed Police Force and Nepali Women's National Team. She started playing football from the age of thirteen. She completed her +2 level from Siddhartha Banasthali College and is currently enrolled in BBS degree in the same college. She started her career from Purbanchal Women's Football Team in 2011 from where she played some local tournaments. Her performance caught the eyes of various departmental sides which led the departmental sides to offer her a contract. Nepali Origin Asmita Ale Magar to Play for Tottenham Hotspur Women's Team

Nepali nation origin and a daughter of former Gurkha soldier, Asmita Ale Magar who has represented England National Women's team has officially joined Tottenham Hotspurs Women's Team on a reportedly two years contract. After joining Tottenham Hotspurs Asmita has stated  "I’m so excited to be joining Spurs – the Club has a fantastic reputation and the ambition that Rehanne, the staff and players have is something I wanted to be a part of. I can't wait to get started." She used to play for Aston Villa Women's Team and was voted Aston Villa's Supporters Player of the season. She won 1546 duels and 74 tackles in 19 appearances this season and had a rock solid defending performance. Finally the ongoing debate between headcoach Abdullah Almutairi and senior Vice President Pankaj Nembanj Has ended after both the parties agreed to end the current problem and move forward together for the development of Nepali football. In previous few days many more events took place which resulted in this agreement. Head Coach Abdullah Almutairi had publicly apologised about the interview. "I am here to extend a sincere apology regarding my interview with an online media last month . I took a stance and talked about some topics which I should have done well" Meanwhile few Anfa members and spokesperson Kiran Rai had resigned from their post. The debate is now over and we can all hope that the Nepali football will rise.
